about
With "Intentions Of Gold", Hush Forever goes completely acoustic for a moment. Sebastian Lilja (Hush Forever) lost his mother, Ann-Ki, to cancer just a few years ago, and over time various emotional experiences surfaced which have become quite personal and emotional songs for him. To enhance the vulnerability in the nature of the song, he decided to strip it completely bare. Just his voice, his guitar and his inner feelings and memories of this late mother. This is as strong as it gets when it comes to expressing grief.
"Intentions Of Gold", also to be known as "Ann-Ki & Her Son Pt. 1", will be part of a what will become a twin release with this first song about his mother. In just 3 weeks, the second release (Ann-Ki and her son Pt. 2) will be revealed, being about Sebastian himself.
lyrics
Intentions Of Gold
Folded dreams and a carelessly wicked, probably blissful fate, Intentions Of Gold.
You were the one I could melt down to Nothing with, We just didnt know it then, but I think I do now.
So Put it down and let me hold you one last time, or forever, we are one.
Is it where it end or where it all begin.
I’ll meet you off shore and I’ll tell you it’s alright, that everything make sense, or maybe it don’t.
It doesn’t really matter I know now, everyone gets to play and everything’s cool.
So Put it down and let me hold you one last time, or forever, we are one.
Is it where it end or where it all begin.
I’m waking up and I think we can talk now, the Robins are flying by and I know you are here.
Cause you are the one I can melt down to Nothing with, Nothing and everything everything.
So Put it down and let me hold you one last time, or forever, we are one.
Is it where it end or where it all begin.
